Weeksville Green: Farmer’s & Community Market 2025

Sat, Jul 12, 2025 @ 12:00 pm 5:30 pm

Weeksville Green Market Returns for the 2025 Season!

Join us on Saturday, July 12th from 12–5:30 PM as we launch a new season of the Weeksville Green Market with a dynamic lineup of local Black-owned vendors. From wellness goods and handcrafted home items to art & poetry, and thoughtful finds for the little ones — there’s something for everyone. Fresh, affordable produce will also be available, continuing our commitment to food access and community health.

This month, we’re proud to partner with The Elders Project to spotlight Waterfront Queer Stories: Elders’ Resilience Amidst Changing Tides, a collection of oral histories by J. Wortham. The day will feature sonic meditations, a live art performance by Osadolor alongside a screening of a_blurred_fluxx_00.avi, hands-on writing and collaging workshops, and an intergenerational conversation with queer NYC elders on memory, queer inheritance and the musicality of wisdom.

Here’s what you can look forward to throughout the day:
